Are you interested in participating in the conference trip to the Museum of Anthropology? (CAN $0) – Thursday, August 6(Required)

This will include a self-guided tour of the Museum of Anthropology, the Totem poles, longhouses, and a possible visit to the classically Canadian Tim Hortons donut chain.

Are you interested in participating the Mentorship Lunch? (CAN $0) – Thursday, Aug 6(Required)

Taking place on the UBC campus, the intention of this lunch will be to connect junior scholars with more experienced senior scholars. Please indicate which role applies best to you below. Participation will include a free selection of Syrian-Canadian wraps.

Will you participate in one of the post-conference excursion activity on the afternoon of Saturday, August 8? (Payment added at checkout)

There will be two optional excursion activities taking place concurrently on Saturday, August 8. These options are a Grouse Mountain SkyRide (CAD $120) or a Stanley Park Tour (CAD $10). Select ‘yes’ for further details. ***Please note that these excursions cannot be bundled.***

Which post-conference activity will you participate in?

The Grouse Mountain SkyRide excursion will include coach bus transportation to the mountain and back, SkyRide and mountain admission, lumberjack show and bear habitat visit, optional easy hike up to the peak of Grouse mountain (approx. 30 min/one way). There will be opportunity to enjoy a coffee and treat at the highest restaurant in the Vancouver region. The Stanley Park Tour (CAD $10) will be a guided tour around the historic Stanley Park. Visitors will enjoy a spectacular view of the Vancouver harbour, beaches, totem poles, and other significant locations. *Please note that this will be a 10km walk along the paved seawall.
